Happy Belated Birthday honey!!!!

I miss you!

I can't believe it's already been like 2 weeks since my last update.

My Dad is still in the hospital. They keep assuring me that he will recover. I won't be fully content nor believe them until I see him in person. Which hopefully will be in the next few months.

Aj and I went to see "A Prairie Home Companion" this past weekend in Winona. It was so much fun. We are total NPR (National Public Radio) dorks and this was a nice evening with his folks. Which was our birthday presents this year.

We have been spending a lot of time at a friends house who is going through a rough patch. We have been helping him remodel his house and one or both of us has been over to see him almost every day for the last week. By this weekend our friend will have a new tile floor in his kitchen and hallway area. It's been fun working on his place and spending more time with him. I just wish it was under happier circumstances.

Work has been crazy busy and I've been busting my ass. But it's good.

I just started a 12 hour fast because I have ultrasounds tomorrow. One scan will be abdominal and the other will be on my kidney's. My nephrology appointment went well. Once we get all of my tests back (blood, urine, etc.) We will know more. But my Doc. and I are pretty sure I'm just at stage 1 Kidney failure. Which is the best. But he is just a little concerned about my diastolic blood pressure which is starting to creep up there.

No concrete weekend plans. There is lots to do though.

Poor heath. Rip. I am sad.

Happy Birthday to my amazing and wonderful husband Aj! I am so thankful for you and I love you very very much. You are my best friend and favorite playmate.

Sweet Jesus!

Aj and I are in need of Halloween costumes for a party at Jake's this year and have no idea what to do. We have little spare time and a very modest budget for them. We were thinking of a cliché prom idea and I do fit into his scout uniform. But what to do and where to go in town?

Any ideas for two creatively constipated people?

Help!!!!!!!

Oh yea, It's on!!! Aj and I are going to Mexico this December, the trip has been officially booked! We are going to the East Coast this time and are going to be staying in the Riviera Maya. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow Aj, Fred, Mom, and I are going to Madison to the Edgewater to do a dinner tasting with Jason and Amanda for their reception dinner. Should be fun!

This upcoming weekend we are heading into the LaCrosse area, give a shout if you wanna meet up!

Adios Amigos

I had a doctors appointment scheduled for 5:25 yesterday. Aj and I arrived at the clinic at 5:00 because traffic was moving very fast. We were told at the desk that my Dr. was running about 45minutes to an hour behind because of a surgery he had earlier in the day.

This I am cool with, he is an amazing Doctor and he gives each and every one of his patients the best possible care. And when I had surgery last year mine ran over too, so I'm sure that threw his day off then. I suppose it's karma.

Around 6:30 his nurse comes out to say that it could possibly be up to another hour due to the fact that he was rushing to the hospital to deliver a baby. Which is cool as well. She has a little be more need of care at the moment than I did.

So we chatted with the nurse and told her our worries/concerns about the treatment options and my pain. She's going to sit with the doctor today and go over everything then they will call me and we'll figure out the next step. Which may possibly be more hormones. The shot this time. We'll see, I'll do it if they can give me something for that side effect called the 'crazies'.

Today I am off and Karl is coming into town!!!!!!!

Aj and I are heading out in a few hours to go see my parents for the weekend and I couldn't be happier. Originally we were going to go up to LaCrosse and get tattooed by Jake, but he has prior commitments. It's cool though, we get more time with the 'rents. And we're going to get some hardcore porch building going on :D

I have had a migraine for about a month, I think I have been going through a bottle of excedrine migraine a week. I've been throwing up and nautious. The last time that something in this neighborhood happened I had kidney stones.... But I don't think that's it. I also am having periodic cramping in my girly bits. I wonder if stress can do this? Work has been pretty craptastic lately. And I have had all the back issues since the damn dog hurt me.

Either way, my most amazingly wonderful patient husband is going to send me to the spa tomorrow for a massage and a pedicure after work. Hopefully this will help with my issues. I hope so, I think I'm driving him nuts.

Also, we have this weekend off and we have already made plans with Jake to get tattooed on Friday night. Then we'll mosey down to my folks house and help them put on their screen porch addition. I just can't wait to see my parents. I don't like just getting to see them once a month. I know to most people that's more than enough. Well it's not to me. Between that and not seeing much of Aj lately. I have been thinking about us just hiding out somewhere for a few days. Nothing crazy, just go where no one can find us. We need some 'us' time.

I need to lay down, I feel like poop and need to go on another sex and the city bender.

We did it. We found a place for our camping trip. We've made reservations at Buckhorn State Park which is on Castle Rock Lake. Aj and I took a trip through the park today and it is awesome. There is canoeing, a beach, fishing pier, volleyball, horseshoes, and hiking. It is a great place. There are pit toilets and shower area at the main site... It is rustic, but more private than any regular campground. The area we picked is a drive-up area so no hiking - this year. I want to make reservations for next year so we can get campsites right on the water!

Let us know who wants to go. There is only room for 18 people! Hurry now while supplies last!!!

YAY CAMPING!!!!!

The dates for the reservation is June 22-24. Which is a Friday and Saturday night, checking out on Sunday. Once we get the total of people going we'll know how the site fees will split.

Today was my day off and I ended up spending it at one of Aj's properties on the lake helping them clean it out to get it ready for summer. It was kinda gross when we got there, complete with a pair of frogs. (that's what having no cover in the spring will do for ya) I have to say we did a pretty darned good job on it! It was nice spending the whole day outside working.

Yesterday Aj and I were in Reedsburg picking up some signs for one of the other properties and we drove past the bridal shop there. I mentioned a cute dress in the window and he turned the truck around and promptly took me into the store. We spent almost an hour there trying on evening gowns and dresses for something to wear to my brothers wedding. And he ended up picking out this beautiful strapless floor length Bill Levkoff gown in the softest satin I've ever felt. Without even looking at the price tag my amazing husband told the lady we'd take it. So they got my measurements and we put half down on it and it'll get here in 3 or so months!!!!! I can't wait, they are having a fancy-pants wedding. Aj's is going to be in a fancy-pants tux...so naturally I needed a fancy-pants dress!!!!!!!!! I'm soooooo lucky!!!!!!

I hate my damned uterus and all the pain it inflicts on me and my family. To think that I'm the only one suffering is wrong.....I know I'm being a bitch and a boor but I can't help it. I can't stand being so fucking bloated that I look 4 months pregnant....fucking irony.

My parents were in town this weekend. It was wonderful to see them. But I was either in pain or a bitch the whole time. I couldn't even enjoy my (too short) once-a-month time with them. I miss them already...

Yesterday we got into town early and decided to get a hotel room at the Mariott. It is a pretty nice hotel, the beds get two thumbs up from me.

Jake got started on my back, wow, have some suck. I didn't expect it to hurt that bad. The good thing is that it looks awesome. I am so excited to get more done on it. Aj got so excited he had to get some work done today. He is finally getting something started on his back that will cover his vines.

It was nice last night after my session. We went to Bodega for a couple of drinks. Ran into some good people I hadn't seen in awhile. It was really nice and chill.

When today's tattooing is done we are gonna head down to my parents for some good family time. I get to missing my family easy. I wish they lived closer.

This week is finally over......

Heading up to LaCrosse this Friday night. Jake is going to start my back and will be working on me from 7-Close. I think we might try to stay in town Friday night so we can go out.

I have worked 22 hours in two days.




I'm tired.

Aj's already working today. I'm in at 3 to 10. Talk about a dumb wasted Saturday. But at least it will be super busy at work and it will hopefully go fast. Tomorrow Aj and I are both off, I'm not sure what we're going to be up to. I think it mainly depends on the weather.

Thursday night my Dad went into the doctors office because he has some pains in his belly. The doctor said that it was a hernia and that he wanted Fred to go up to LaCrosse to get another test done and possibly schedule surgery for next week. Well as soon as they got to the hospital they did one scan and popped an iv into him and carted him off to surgery. I guess it was a doozy. But he's home, cranky, and sore. I hope this will make him realize that he needs to slow down, if not just wait and ask for some help. What is it with men? Sheesh.

It was nice to have a weekend with Aj. We didn't go anywhere and we really didn't do that much. We did some housework, attempted to fish, grilled some good food. And managed to hang out with some friends. It went by way too slow.

This week is going to be normal for me. But Aj is spending today and tomorrow in Milwaukee with some sort of pool training. I don't know, I guess it means he'll be able to fix pools and spas better.

Ok, I need some tea

Last weekend in LaCrosse was awesome. It was so great seeing everyone, I had such a good time, we need to do that more often. I missed my LaCrosse peeps alot! But I have been sick since Sunday. I totally lost my voice. I sound like I have emphysema or something. It went from having a sexy Kathleen Turner voice to having one that sounds like froggy from little rascals.

..seriously. It's gross....and it hurts

I worked my ass off this week. I slept, and I heavily medicated myself.


...and that's about it.....

Hopefully Aj and I will break out the fishing gear tomorrow.
